The American Association of Medical Colleges has launched their interactive portal, MedEdPORTAL, to develop an active online medical community.
This resource is free, and is designed to facilitate the open exchange of teaching resources, including virtual patients. All content has been peer reviewed by leading experts. Robby Reynolds and Gabrielle Campbell presented MedEdPORTAL at the recent International Conference of Virtual Patients 2009 held at Krakow, Poland. There they explained how MedEdPORTAL can help encourage the peer review and sharing of Virtual Patients and related online resources – helping create high quality educational materials.
