International Conference on Virtual Patients & MedBiquitous Annual Conference 2010, London, UK

ICVP_logo_blackWe are pleased to announce the 2nd International Conference on Virtual Patients & MedBiquitous Annual Conference will be held April 26 – 28 2010 in County Hall, London, UK.

The conference offers the unique opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics related to virtual patients, take part in ‘hands on’ workshops, and engage directly with virtual patient software experts.

This exciting conference will give participants the chance to learn about how virtual patients, e-learning resources, social networking and Web 2.0 technology can advance health education and assessment. Web 2.0 technologies and e-learning resources and are becoming increasingly relevant not only in the medical curricula, but in all aspects of health care.

We are also pleased to announce that Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, Medical Director of the UK National Health Service (NHS) will give the keynote address on Supporting and Innovating Healthcare Quality and Safety.

Call for abstracts

The Scientific Committee for the MedBiquitous Annual Conference and 2nd International Conference on Virtual Patients is seeking high-quality abstracts for panel presentations and technology demonstrations related to virtual patients, e?learning resources and social networking and their use for health education.

This conference is co-hosted by eViP, G4, SGUL, mEducator, the Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine (MEDEV) and St George’s University of London.
