TitleItching
DescriptionYou are an internist assistant and get a referral from a GP in town. Dear colleague, Mr Willems suffered for several years from itching of his legs due to an eczema craquele. Last months the itch became worse and more generalized. Treatment with an indifferent ointment hardly gave any help. Physical examination revealed no abnormalities. In lab examination, the ESR was 82 and Hb 6,9 (microcytic); liver function, renal function and further blood tests were normal. When I saw this patient yesterday the itching was bothering him a lot and he also complained about an uncomfortable feeling in his abdomen. This is accompanied by a weight loss of 6 kg during the last months. Please further examination for this patient.
