By being the first large-scale collaboration around the exchange of Virtual Patients (VPs), the eViP Programme hopes to achieve the following outcomes:
- Referatory of 320 collective VPs for multilingual, multicultural access, and integrated into the curricula of the partners
- Tried and tested standards to uniformly describe & share VPs
- Sustainable network of medical and healthcare faculties for the development and exchange of VPs
- Common content licensing model developed for open-exchange of materials
And ultimately, eViP aims to provide a major resource for medical and healthcare education to be shared by all institutions across Europe.
